1. Who we are
ChristmasAdvents is the online shop at christmasadvents.com. It is operated by [Seller's legal name, address and registration number: to be added before launch]. You can reach us through our contact page.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to every order placed in our shop. If you buy as a consumer, nothing in them takes away rights that the consumer law of your country gives you.
3. Products and prices
Prices are in euros and include any taxes that apply. The delivery cost is added at checkout and shown before you pay. Product photos come from our suppliers, so colours and small details of the item you receive can differ slightly.
4. Placing an order
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. The contract between us is made when we send you the order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order, for example because an item is out of stock or a price was shown wrongly, we tell you without delay and refund everything you paid.
5. Payment
You pay at checkout with one of the payment methods shown there. Payments are handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
6. Delivery
Items are sent to you directly from our suppliers' warehouses. Costs and estimated delivery times are in our shipping policy. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or someone you name, receive the item.
7. Your right to cancel
If you buy as a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order without giving a reason. Our refund policy explains how.
8. Faulty items and the legal guarantee
Every item has a legal guarantee of two years from delivery under EU consumer law. If an item is faulty or not as described, contact us and you will get a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund, as the law provides.
9. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for your legal rights as a consumer. Our products are sold for private use, so we are not liable for business losses.
10. Using this website
The content of this website, including its text and design, belongs to us or to our suppliers. You may not copy it for commercial use without permission.
11. Personal data
Our privacy policy explains how we use your personal data.
12. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first through our contact page. We reply within 14 days. If we cannot settle your complaint, consumers in Lithuania can apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, vvtat.lrv.lt) for out-of-court dispute resolution. Consumers in other EU countries can ask the European Consumer Centre in their country for help.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on the day you place your order applies to that order.
15. Two-year guarantee
The legal guarantee under EU consumer law, on every item. Section 8 explains what you can ask for if an item is faulty.
